President Donald Trump was understandably furious at disgraced former FBI Director James Comey after he attempted to malign Trump by stating in his testimony that the President tried to obstruct justice by making him jettison the investigation into Michael Flynn.

President Trump then stunned Democrats by announcing that he would be willing to testify under oath, to correct Comey’s false version of events with the truth. This has led Democrats to scramble to find taped recordings of Trump’s conversations with Comey, to somehow prove that Trump is lying. The Secret Service just made an announcement about these tapes.

Trump caused a furor among gullible Democrats when he tweeted last month, “James Comey better hope that there are no ‘tapes’ of our conversations before he starts leaking to the press!” Even the conservative Wall Street Journal submitted a Freedom of Information Act [FOIA] request to get access to these tapes.

The Secret Service just officially stated in their reply, “In response to your request, the Secret Service has conducted a reasonable search for responsive records. It appears, from a review of Secret Service’s main indices, that there are no records pertaining to your request that are referenced in these indices,” the letter added.

This response must have been devastating for Comey, who seems to believe they will restore his reputation. Said Comey last week about the tapes, “I hope there are, and I’ll consent to the release. All I can do is hope. The president surely knows if he taped me. Release all the tapes. I’m good with it.” Do you think liberals are foolish for believing in these tapes?
