Liberal attorney Lisa Bloom probably figured that she had permanently ruined popular host Bill O’Reilly when she managed to convince 21st Century Fox CEO James Murdoch to fire O’Reilly recently amid a storm of hyped-up accusations by Lisa Bloom’s clients.
Fortunately O’Reilly is clearly unwilling to just ride off into the sunset in a state of manufactured disgrace. In a recent interview, he just outlined his plan to revive his career and hit back at the executives who are currently running Fox News into the ground.
During the appearance for his “The Spin Stops Here” tour, Bill stated that “there could be a new network” being put together right now by O’Reilly and like-minded conservatives. He said, “A bunch of people are looking to compete with Fox because there’s a perception” that Fox News is on the downswing.
He continued, “But I am starting my own operation. We are going to do that,” and stated that he would try a broadcast of his new podcast “where we will go into a studio and here it will look like ‘The Factor.’ It’s basically an experiment to see how many people are going to want this service. That’s coming and will be here before September in a robust form. But I suspect there will be another network maybe merging with us. There will be a network that rises up because the numbers for Fox are going down.”
Said O’Reilly about Fox News right now, “It’s a different network. It happens. I’m not going to bad-mouth them. They had a shift in management that coincided with a very well thought-out and financed effort to destroy me. It worked — temporarily. It all had to do with President Trump. In the weeks to come, I’m going to lay all that out in a very public way.” Do you support O’Reilly?
